Get your space back without guessing.
Dustpan shows what’s filling your disk, explains each item, and asks before anything moves.
Scan, review, sweep. You decide in the middle.
Scan
Dustpan reads sizes and dates across your disk. It looks, and changes nothing. Most scans finish in under a minute.
Review
Every item is labelled Safe, Rebuilds itself, or Review, with its path and when you last opened it. Anything marked Review is never pre-selected.
Sweep
Only what you ticked goes to the Trash. Nothing is erased, and the sweep is logged in History.
See your whole disk at a glance.
Every folder as a ring, sized by what it holds. Click a segment to open it. Try it below.
Tidy up after Xcode, npm and Docker.
Dev tools keep copies of things they can build or download again. Dustpan finds them, shows when each was last used, and leaves alone anything you opened today.
Archives are the exception. You may need them for crash reports, so they’re marked Review and never pre-selected.
Changed your mind? Put it back.
Every sweep is logged. While the files are still in the Trash, one click returns each to its original folder.
Once you empty the Trash, those files are gone for good. History says so plainly instead of pretending otherwise.

Questions
Not on its own. Nothing moves until you tick it, system files are off limits, and your documents, photos and mail are never pre-selected. Sweeps go to the Trash first, so you can always restore them.
Some of the biggest clutter sits in folders macOS keeps private, like Mail downloads and app containers. Full Disk Access lets Dustpan read sizes and dates there. It only looks. You can turn it off in System Settings at any time, and Dustpan still works without it.
The app that made it will recreate it when needed. Caches, Xcode build files and package caches are examples. Removing them is harmless. The next launch or build may be a little slower.
No scare screens, no “problems found”, no memory boosting, no background agent. Dustpan doesn’t claim to speed up your Mac. It shows where your space went, explains each item, and lets you decide.
No. Scanning happens on your Mac and there’s no account. The only network request is an optional update check, which you can turn off.
Developer cleanup and the Storage Map, for a one-time $19.99. Everything else is free, and the free version keeps working whether or not you upgrade.
